k-5
Kindergarten to 5th grade are fine the way they
are kids need the solid support and foundation for starting school. I think
maybe they could change the teaching habits a little but they are fine.
6-8
Kids should start to get a visual of what they wont to do
they should be mandatory classes that they have to take to get the basics they
still need but they should in 6th grade take a class that should
help them pick what field they want to go in then by 7th grade they
should be able to pick their own class but still have so mandatory classes.
That way they will have an early look on their pick of field
9-12
In 9th to 12th they should know or
have a good idea in what they won’t and if not their should be a core class coarse.
The core classes would be a general teaching on a wide vides of things. But the
students should now be able to pick all their classes in their field. This way
they get what they won’t out of it. I feel that there is not enough time to get
everything in so by doing this and cutting the mandatory classed you have to
take you can spread out the classes and have more time to teach all the unit so
students are not rushed and are taking classes in their field.
Board of education
From my understanding the on the board is only people that
don’t know school. There are no students and teachers on the board from my
understanding. This means they have no idea how what they do affects kids and
teachers. If students were elected to go on the board and teachers were voted
as well then there would be a better understanding of what happened and how to
fix things.
